Welcome

We encourage appropriate and effective rural evangelism

This is the online home for the UK's national Rural Evangelism Network bringing together the most experienced evangelists, researchers writers and teachers on rural evangelism from across the Churches and mission agencies.

You can also discover more about Rural Sunrise, the rural mission consultancy that provides administrative services for the Network and sponsors this website.

Explore the links to all the key people active in rural mission and the ,main rural mission agencies in the UK, browse the regularly updated Helpful Ideas, and discover the resources that are available - some of which are free.

While there is much for a casual browser to find here, full access is only available to those who are registered users.  Registering also gives opportunity to publish your own information and articles, and publicise forthcoming events.  Registration costs just £10 per year.  Members of REN and theology students are granted free access. If you are active in rural ministry or mission we would love to welcome you into this online community of people with a heart for sharing the good news with people in rural UK.
