G. bec-goody- Bec Goody
Volunteer Chaplain
Bec has a heart for people and a passion for helping others feel valued, encouraged and supported. She brings a wealth of experience and a particular interest in pastoral care, mentoring and emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Bec holds an MA in Mission (Children and Youth Ministry), with her research exploring how Christian mentoring can support young people's mental health and wellbeing. She is passionate about creating spaces where people feel listened to, cared for and able to flourish.

As Volunteer Chaplain at Rural Missions, Bec provides pastoral and spiritual support to our staff and trustees. Her role is about being a listening ear, offering encouragement and prayer, and helping to ensure that those serving others are themselves supported and cared for.

Bec is also actively involved in her local church, Ashwood as pastoral lead, as well as being in the leadership core team, where she enjoys encouraging others in their faith and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Outside of ministry, Bec enjoys spending time with her husband Bob and their son Reuben.
